This policy explains what My Bali Support collects, why, where it is kept, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
My Bali Support is operated by Traveller Support Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 701 631 736), a company registered in Australia. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

We operate under the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we also meet its requirements. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, we meet its requirements too.
The app does not track which screens you use. There is no advertising tool and no usage analytics in the app.
If the app crashes, a crash report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics, a service run by Google. It contains what the app was doing when it stopped, your device model and its operating system version. It does not contain your documents, your photos or anything you have typed. We use it only to find and fix the fault.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with anyone for marketing. There is no advertising in the app at all.
On your device. Your documents, photos, favourites and trip details are saved to your phone first. That is what makes them open with no signal and no data roaming.
Backed up to the cloud. Your travel documents and photos are also uploaded to Firebase, a service run by Google, and stored against your account. This is so you do not lose them if you lose your phone, and so they come back when you sign in on a new device.
Where the cloud copy physically sits. Our Firebase storage and database are hosted in Australia.
Who can reach it. Only you. Files are stored under your own account and access is restricted to the signed-in owner.
How long we keep it. Until you delete it or delete your account. Deleting your account removes the copy on your device and the copy in the cloud.
We use these services, and they handle information under their own privacy policies:
Opening directions hands your chosen destination to that maps app. We do not send it anything else.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to data portability, to restrict processing, to object to processing, and to complain to your national supervisory authority.
If the CCPA applies to you, you have the right to know what is collected and whether it is sold or disclosed, to access it, and to have it deleted. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these, email admin@mybalisupport.com.au. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
The app is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
The app includes a packing checklist for children. That list holds no information about a child — it is a list of things to pack, ticked by the adult.
We use your location only to work out how far away things are, such as ATMs, hospitals, pharmacies, police stations and currency exchanges, and to place saved locations on a map.
You can refuse or withdraw location permission at any time in your phone's settings. The app still works — you just will not see distances.
Only in these cases:
In the app: My Account → My Profile → Delete Account. That deletes your local data and your cloud copy.
If you would rather we did it, email us and we will.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you in the app.
